MSUMC Sports

Registration is now open for fall soccer at Meridian Street. We have 3 coed leagues (4-5, 6-7, 8-10). (we had to remove the older league due to lack of kids) Practices are once per week (between 5:30pm and 8:30pm), with the night selected by the coach. (we will work with familiies to make sure the practice night fits your schedule) Games are on Saturdays between 8:30am and 3:00pm, with the younger leagues playing earlier. A few games will be on weeknights later in the season. The fee of $75 covers uniforms, pictures and participation medals. Please sign up by clicking the register link above. Questions? Our goal is to promote healthy physical activity and positive team experiences in an environment that demands sportsmanship and courteous behavior. We strive to provide basic skills instruction and to install the value of dedication and self-discipline. We desire to involve parents in this aspect of their child's development in order to promote well rounded individuals and families.

MSUMC Sports League is a recreational league. The desire to win should be encouraged but not the desire to win at any cost. Sportsmanship is more important at MSUMC Sports League than winning. Arguing calls and criticizing poor plays have no place in this league. The objective of MSUMC Sports League is for players to have fun, to play safely, and to learn the fundamentals.

All parent volunteers that directly work with children must undergo a limited criminal history search. This search is provided through the Indiana State Police. MSUMC Sports League assumes all costs associated with these searches. You can get more information on this service from the Indiana State Police webiste
